Am i on the the right life path for me at this time?

Dear Robin,

The Reversed Prince of Cups appears for you, and although you are certainly not totally "off course" in your life path, it may be that something is "missing" for you -- or needs to be realigned for better balance and overall fulfillment!  That missing element may involve your own emotions and intuition that might not be expressed as fully as they need to be.  Consider if you've felt moody and depressed lately, or if these types of feelings tend to come to you more often than you realized.  With this card, the first thing this Prince would ask you to do is to acknowledge the blessings around you and be thankful for those.  This sends out your appreciation to the Universe to allow the blessings to more freely flow.

It's true that sometimes bad things happen in life, and such events can make us question our purpose and our paths.  One can even get into such a rut where she might feel that if God really loved us, He wouldn't allow anything bad to happen which causes upset or depression.  But we must always keep in mind that God doesn't make bad things happen to anyone . . . but He will be there to help through hard times if one has trust and faith in Him.  This card encourages you to be open to spiritual assistance and not block that blessed resource that is available to you.

With the reversal of this card, it's also important to really pay attention to your intuitive voice.  You may feel as if something seems to pull at you on an emotional level, even if you cannot quite put your finger on it.  That's a sign that there is something for you to pay attention to from your own ideas, feelings, thoughts, and intuition.  Getting in tune with this can help you align yourself in a more balanced and comfortable fashion on your present life path.  As noted, it's not that you are on the "wrong" path, and you're not totally off course . . . but something seems to be missing here -- and that "something" is what is necessary to make you truly feel fulfilled on your present path.  It may also be that a missing element in your life may revolve around the concept of a healthy relationship that you need in your life -- either needing to have a relationship in your life or improving on one that is already a part of your life (whether a romantic relationship, a friendship, or a family relationship).  This card would encourage you to be open and receptive to people in your life.  Make sure that you are letting them in to your personal world so that a healthy and happy exchange of give and take can take place.

You are encouraged to look at your creative side at this time and make sure you are expressing your personal creativity in ways that make you feel good.  Look at anything that you feel is "holding you back" in some way.  There seems to be something more here that needs to be expressed in your current path so that you can truly grasp that sensation of fulfillment as you are meant to do.  This can also signify that you need to make sure you are not giving too much to others . . . or conversely, ensure that you are giving enough.  Something is a bit out of balance with the Reversed Prince of Cups, and if you have felt overly emotional, moody, or depressed lately, that is something to really pay attention to . . . because something is trying to get your attention so that it can be resolved in a comfortable and pleasing way for your life path.

You may find that something is being delayed or postponed which does not make you happy.  Something may somehow be standing in the way of your perceived progress.  And if you find that you've had to push personal dreams aside for one reason or another, this does not mean that those dreams should stay on the shelf forever!  So this is a good time to review your plans, goals, and dreams!  When you experience setbacks in life, try to avoid the mindset that you have to reject anything happy or pleasurable in your life.  Don't allow worry, sorrow, or regret to take over.  With this reversed Prince energy, that can be so easy to do!
