I'm thrilled to have won a reading with you.  Thank you so much for the opportunity . . . .

My husband has just had his work hours cut in half which is devastating to our finances as he is the main breadwinner.  A couple of days before that I found out that the cemetery where my son is will no longer allow me to decorate his grave and this is such a help to me in coping with his loss.  I would like to know what the lesson or purpose of all this turmoil is and any advise on how to cope.

Dear Catz,

The Reversed Sun card came up in response to your concern.  This is certainly an energy where obstacles, problems, and disappointments can arise.  But even when reversed, the Sun is not one to hold negative energies and "lock them in place."  It's never fun when something or someone "rains on your parade" of life, causing things to get off course from that which is familiar to you, but trust that no matter what the circumstances are for you at this time, the Sun will shine again!

Your son is still a ray of beautiful sunshine in your heart, and I know it must have been a real comfort to decorate his resting place.  But perhaps the lesson here is to learn that he really doesn't care (where he is) about an earthly structure being decorated in his honor and memory.  Your son knows he will see you again one day, and in the meantime, he just wants you to be happy.  He knows he is there in your heart forever, just as you are in his, and there is so much love there.  I think when it comes to losing a loved one, perhaps there is never any true "closure" to that . . . but this may be what helps you get as close to that as you can in regard to this very unfortunate circumstance.  Rain or shine, that love is forever true and eternal.  I have heard of some cemeteries creating this kind of a policy, and what some like you have done, since they were no longer allowed to decorate, was to have a permanent decoration designed and affixed to a headstone.  This might be something you could consider doing if you felt a need to.

You truly are going through a lot of turmoil right now.  Bless your heart!  This card reversal indicates feeling stalled, confused, and directionless.  Yet this can also be a signal that some new creative idea, project, or a new level of personal growth is trying to form or break through.  This is a time for self-analysis about the direction of your life and how you are investing yourself, your time, and your energy.  Even though you may feel confused, defeated, or just plain unhappy about the situations in your life right now, take heart . . . because although the Sun in reverse may very well present unwanted delays and obstacles for your plans and goals, all is not lost.  Your own attitude and approach right now can "make or break you" in what you are dealing with.  You need to be patient with yourself and try to think as positively as you can.  I know that is easier said than done when you are in the midst of chaos.

Be careful that you don't let yourself sink into the pit of depression over these issues in your life.  This turmoil may be like a time of "incubation," where new growth will ultimately establish an overall better sense of stability once you get past these obstacles.  Waiting for the better times and the sense of being "in control" of your life again can be an anxious and frustrating time . . . but you need to have faith that the Sun will indeed shine again!
