Dear Velvet,

Hello Velvet, I am thrilled to be a winner of this month's free reading.
How do I go about being on my life path?   What advise do you have for me to enhance my spiritual journey this life time?

Dear Voyager,

The Dance of Life card has come up from the Major Arcana of the Tarot to share some "major" secrets with you in regard to your question.  This is a very positive card and indicates that you are probably much closer to your life path than you realize.  Your life path involves being around like-minded souls with whom you can laugh, share, and rejoice.  It's not meant for your path to be a lonely one.  So even if you don't feel that you've arrived yet on your own personal path and journey . . . you probably already have a good idea of where you want to go and where you need to be :-)

Listen to the drum of your own heart, which echoes the heart of the Great Mother Earth whom we are privileged to walk upon at this time.  Open the parts of yourself that have long been closed -- like a flower which takes pleasure each morning in the risk of opening herself once more to the possibilities that a new day can bring.  If the flower were to feel too much anxiety, then she would not unfurl, but would remain tightly closed, never sharing her divinely bestowed beauty.  How much poorer we would all be if the flowers and plants worried about trampling, cutting, or pain in daily life and refused to play their parts in the Dance of Life.  But the flowers do not have a fear that holds them back, for they trust that instead of destruction they will experience sunlight and showers.  This card tells us that season after season, cycle after cycle, you are renewed in the Dance of Life.  Having faith in that renewal and sense of purpose for your important journey can be compared to a beautiful flower as mentioned here.

Very importantly, this card asks you not to ever be ashamed or embarrassed by any beliefs you hold.  Align yourself with others who share your views, and together each of you will help one another to grow stronger in spirit . . . and to help others along the way, too -- for this is the main part of your important journey:  to help other people in some capacity whether in the form of healing, teaching, or counseling.  This seems to be what is calling out to you with this card from the Major Arcana of the Wild Spirit Tarot.  As a card of Karma, your good deeds, kind words and actions, and even a smile that you give someone will all come back to you in some form of positive reward when you are the one who needs it.

Even when you feel that you are dealing with "lost causes," this card asks you not to view it in those terms.  Don't worry about your actions appearing foolish in the eyes of others.  Your actions and deeds that come from a pure heart are never wasted, nor are they foolish.  When you feel the wholeness and begin to release the tensions of worry, you will be able to give more of yourself to others.  Giving can be obvious -- such as cooking a special meal for someone, giving away books or clothes you no longer need, or buying a present for someone.  Giving can also be subtle, and perhaps many times even more effective.  Giving involves time willingly shared.  It is listening without prejudice; it is a word of encouragement or praise.  You need no money in order to give.  You need not even think of what you will get from it personally . . . but you will certainly feel the personal rewards of giving.
