Hi Velvet, I am applying for a new job which would involve more money and more responsibility.  I want to know if the job would be right for me, and if I am offered it, if I should accept.  This job might put my plans for graduate or law school on hold for a while.  Take care. Dear Betty,
The Ace of Rainbows in Reverse indicates that this new job may not be quite what you expected in terms of money.  On the surface, everything seems to be in place for a good start which can give you a false sense of security for this position -- only to discover later that some promises were not kept in regard to the benefits and/or the work itself.  You may be disappointed with what you find in the new job.  You'll want to ask a lot of questions before getting yourself "stuck" in something you later find out you don't want.

Being reversed, this card also explains that this position may not allow you to grow and mature on a professional level -- at least not in ways you had expected.  Even if the money sounds quite good, you simply might not be happy with this choice.  You may feel that new beginnings just aren't getting off the ground for you.

I know this sounds rather discouraging, but remember that the choices here belong to you, and not to the Tarot.  If nothing else, this position may simply need some deeper inquiry so that you can feel more certain about what you would be getting into.  Somehow, I think this reversed Ace is also asking you to reconsider your educational plans.  Perhaps it may not be the best choice to put those important plans on the shelf.  Just think it all over, weigh the pros and cons, and know that no matter what information the Tarot offers, you still get to choose for yourself :-)  Obviously you have potential for great things . . . so just try to ensure that you are embracing the most promising opportunities in front of you.
