I am a surgical nurse, I have had a very stressful last few years.  I am considering going back to school and take a couple of classes outside of the medical field.  My question is:   what classes would I excel in and would contribute to me going into another direction?

The card of Judgment suggests that you may soon feel a strong inner calling that prompts you toward a specific direction -- if you haven't already felt a particular interest or calling for something about this desired career change.  What you choose to go into can be quite rewarding for you, and although making this sort of a change can feel somewhat difficult at first, the transition may go better than you expect!  The time is definitely right to consider this kind of a change, as Judgment speaks of change and renewal.  It's a card of assessments that will help you finally come to peace with some new decisions.  You may even be able to find a special "career niche" that will be a perfect fit for you, so this is something to get excited about, especially since this energy tells us that the timing is right for such changes.  Be open to new thoughts and ideas that come to you, including any particular opportunities that may come knocking for your attention!

With this card, some career direction ideas for which you may be able to take some classes would include court work, reporting, coordination, or positions that allow you to make decisions and judgements.  The concept of judgment can naturally arise in the legal field (and you do not have to be a lawyer to work in that area, as there are other positions that will not require years of education).  It can also apply in the field of finance or banking, such as working in the area of lending, deeds, and mortgages.  These are three particular words that come to my mind.  An office setting that involves other people seems to be the environment of a future good fit for you.  I don't think you are meant to be working in a corner all by yourself with no human exchanges of communication.  You are meant to be around people and to apply your newfound expertise in ways that are meaningful and rewarding to you.

You are feeling this call to change to allow you the opportunity of a clean slate and new beginnings in your life.  Like the metamorphosis of a butterfly, you can liberate yourself from current restraints and assume a new form.  As mentioned, there may be a particular vocational interest that calls out to you, and if so, definitely explore those possibilities no matter what area it happens to come up in!  Keep an open mind and heart when approaching your decisions, and a whole new range of solutions and ideas will be available to you.

Judgement offers to you these considerations to ponder, but definitely the most important thing with this card's energy is to look within yourself to discover that "inner calling" that you may be starting to feel now . . . or will soon come to your attention more prominently.  This card can specifically speak about areas in the legal realm, court work or work in a courthouse.  It can speak of the financial and banking field, and it can speak of areas in which you do scheduling and coordinating.  So these are some ideas to add to your present thoughts to help you further explore your options.
