Dear Velvet,

My question: where I'm going with Etienne, do we have a future together?

I devorced in 1992 because my ex-husband hit me and my 2 daughters, I have had a boyfriend who never had time because he was married. In beginning of 2002 I knew an other man (Etienne 08/31/1966). he is also devorced and he came to me, but he seems afraid about the future but he is all what I coud wish. Just now he is in France with his 2 children, I'm missing him and his children very hard.

Sylvette, this card seems to indicate that Etienne is feeling "trapped" by things of his past and worries of the future.  He is concerned about the choices he is making right now.  It seems that perhaps his previous marriage has been hard on him.  Perhaps it was something in which he felt trapped by.  Money problems may be on his his mind, and of course, there is the ongoing care and concern for his children's well-being.  And you, too, may also be experiencing some of these same feelings due to the difficult marriage you have endured in the past.  The card of entrapment indicates that Etienne does not want to place himself in any situations for which he will feel "closed in."  But as the card also indicates, in 9 months time, Etienne is likely to start feeling more secure about himself and a new relationship.
