What does my financial Future look like?

Dear Dianne,

Your card is the Reversed Queen of Clouds -- or in traditional Tarot, the Reversed Queen of Swords.  Unfortunately, this is just not a favorable card for money matters -- or any matter, as far as that goes.  There seems to be a downward shift in energy for your financial situation that you may already be experiencing at this time, or may feel in the near future.  Some financial setbacks or delays in plans that involve monetary resources may come up.  You may feel that things are "drying up" and dwindling away.  But one important thing to keep in mind that can at least reduce the impact of this card's energy is to be conservative in spending, especially over the next several months.  Also, beware of misleading information concerning investment advice or other economic concerns where you could be unknowingly putting your money or resources at risk due to someone else's manipulation.

Among the suggestions of this temporary setback in finances, the Tarot also asks you to try not to allow hard times to leave you feeling bitter and devoid of emotion, whether such conditions are currently being experienced, or what may be ahead.  Energy means change, so even a financial situation that is problematic can also get better!  (And vice versa, too.)  Since this card is from the Minor Arcana of the Tarot, this troublesome financial situation is something you can likely work through relatively quickly -- at least within the course of 3 or 4 months . . . so if you do feel the impact of this kind of financial energy, try to be positive about it and hopeful that it's not something intended to last.

The Tarot's advice is not to let such a situation control you.  You should control it instead by taking stock of where you currently are in your financial life, how you got there, and what you hope to gain.  Think about your hopes, goals, and aspiration.  Can you achieve them effectively from your current standpoint -- or do they always seem to be just out of arm's reach?  If the latter happens to be the case for you, the Reversed Queen of Clouds asks you to take charge of your life.  Turn your focus away from what you don't have, and refocus on what you need.  Then take the necessary steps to achieve it.  The Tarot tells us that you have the capability to change a negative financial reality into something better . . . but nothing positive can manifest until you put aside any daydreams and wishful thinking . . . and take action.  And that can be difficult sometimes to make ourselves do what we really need to do, but it's required in order to make progress.
