Which is the best path for me to take regarding my job search -- look for a job in Houston or in San Antonio?

Dear Gina,

Although the Tarot cannot provide us with names or places, and to compare two places would require two cards (one for each option), we will look at the qualities or characteristics of the most ideal place for you to search for a job.  The Muse indicates that perhaps your best option in a job search is to look at what may inspire you most with a challenge.  This card can represent change, and so you might consider what may offer you a change of pace with something new to explore and try.

Consider where your ambitions are trying to lead you, and make a stand for what you know is right for yourself in this situation.  Perhaps a new approach is needed in how you are looking at your options.  The only thing constant is change.  Nothing truly stays the same, and sometimes we are required to step up to the challenge of change and see what better things and situations we can create for ourselves through being adaptable and taking up a challenge.  This card indicates that perhaps the solution that seems easiest will not be your best route -- but the one that seems more difficult on the surface may bring you the most satisfaction overall.

A new set of ambitions, a new set of personal power, and a new picture of what you want and can achieve seem to be waiting for your attention.  When you catch up to claim this energy, it can feel like you are experiencing a rebirth.  Like a butterfly leaving the chrysalis, you might choose to leave behind an old way of being as you engage in the changes of life.

It certainly seems that life is ready to give your self-esteem a nice boost, offering experiences that provide you with a new level of understanding about who you are, what you want, and what you're able to accomplish.  You are encouraged at this time to set goals that are congruent with your real ambitions -- and not merely the ones you think you have a shot at reaching.

And so in terms of which option you might be better off in choosing, Gina, it seems that the Muse encourages you to stretch yourself in this situation and go for what might seem the most challenging.  Go for what might allow you to experience a change in your professional life.  The "easy way out" in this situation might not be the best avenue . . . but the more challenging option could hold much more in the way of rewards for you :-)
