Dear Velvet,
Our divorce is to be final shortly with things evolving without problems.  There are some loose ends that won't be resolved until after.  What are the energies surrounding this situation?

Dear Dorothy,

The Reversed Three of Clouds shows that most of the tears and upset are already behind you now.  It is through tears that a cleansing process allows release to finally take place and to break out of the "ice-olation."  You are likely feeling the beginning of a sense of freedom at this time.  This card serves as a reminder that it's okay to cry when you feel the need to . . . and there is no reason to be ashamed of it.  Crying helps to let go of pain, allows us to be gentle with ourselves, and finally helps us to heal . . . and with the reversal of this card, I think you are already beginning to heal emotionally.

This reversed card tells us that the worst is over.  Even though you may experience some lingering regret and depression, the awful pain of the upright card is lessened in its impact.  It seems there has been a realization that this relationship must end, and doing so has probably not been quite as difficult as you imagined it might be.  Now is a time where you can stop dwelling on past hurts and move forward.  The Reversed Three of Clouds encourages you to now focus on all you can still be and do, rather than on what "might have been."  Consider where you are today and acknowledge that you are not the same person who was wounded in the past.

You have experienced negativity, pain, and loss from a failed relationship . . . but the good news is that these experiences have led to hard but important lessons about boundaries and trust.  New ideas or actions will replace old ones, and its seems that something better will be established in your life that could not have otherwise happened :-)
