How should I ask my questions?

How many questions can I ask for my reading?
How should I ask my questions?  What details do you need?  How many questions can I ask for my reading?

You should try to be as specific as possible when asking your question.  I don't want to get hung up with a long list of rules for you on how to ask, so I'll just say . . . Ask what is foremost on your mind, remembering to ask only one question per reading unless your reading allows for multiple questions.  Most questions asked of the Tarot begin with "What, When, How, or Why" . . . but this is not an absolute rule.  You can also ask your question in the form of a request, such as:  "Please tell me what I need to know about . . . . "

You can also include a time frame in your request . . . such as "Where is my financial situation likely to be within the next 6 months?"  Or  "Will I meet a potential long-term partner during the 6 months?"  You can use the time frame you want . . . such as 3 months, 6 months, a year . . . but it's best not to ask beyond a year.

Sometimes I get a request such as the following:"I'm just kind of wondering about my money situation and if I'll get to move or not, and things really aren't going well at work either, so please tell me what you think.  Also, my marriage is having problems right now, so I hope you can help."
Whew!!  What a mouthful . . . and we have not one, not two, not three . . . but 4 questions here!  And I do get people asking things like this for a one-question reading.  I don't even know where to begin on something like this, because a one-question reading just isn't going to properly address all these issues.  Instead, if you have two or more separate issues that you want to ask about . . . just order a 1-card reading for each question, and then I can more effectively do a reading for you on all of your issues . . . and you won't have to spend as much money ordering several larger spreads if you don't want to.

If you accidentally do ask more than one question about separate issues, I will just go with your first question asked, as that is usually foremost on a seeker's mind.

The example I gave above would have been different if the client had asked for information all about the *same* subject.  For example, she could have provided the following information for me in this way:  My husband is spending too much money which is causing a lot of problems in our marriage.  The stress is affecting me even when I try to work.  I just don't see how we can ever afford to move with him spending so much and not saving anything.  Can you offer advise on how I should deal with this dilemma concerning my husband's spending habits?
Here, we do only have one question -- a request for advice on how to deal with her husband's spending habits.  Yet she also provided me some details to help me focus on her situation and what is going on.  I don't have to guess which issue she really wants help with.  Plus, the reading might possibly mention something about her stress at work and her relationship issue since I'm aware of some of the problems the spending habits are creating.  The main focus of the reading will be on how to deal with it.  The more information or details a client can provide, the better reading I can do, because it helps me to connect with the client a little more and to better understand his or her situation . . . so that I can apply the correct layer of meaning within the cards.

You can provide as much or as little details as you feel comfortable with . . . but anything you relate to me goes no further than me!!  As your Tarot Reader (and your friend!), it's my responsibility to keep everything confidential.  I value my clients' trust and respect . . . thus, I will *never* do anything to abuse that trust given to me.
