Will the cards tell my future?

Will the cards tell my future?

No.  Your future is not set in stone.  The cards offer potentials and possibilities for the future, based on the present course of events, but many variables can come into play that affect an outcome -- such as your own decisions . . . and the decisions made by others who are involved in your situation.  Sometimes it does seem uncanny how the cards can hit the mark so well, and this can make people believe that they do tell the future.  They really don't.  It's you who make the decisions each day that affect your tomorrows.  You are the one in control of your life . . . and if someone else is unfairly controlling *you* . . . then I'd say you need to get out of that situation without even looking at the Tarot cards.  And that's a choice you have:  to let someone else control your life . . . or to take control of it yourself.  :-)

In some ways you can compare the predictions of a Tarot Reading to that of a weather forecast.  Most of the time, the weather can be forecasted to some reasonable degree of accuracy.  But sometimes, other variables come into the picture that influence the patterns of the weather . . . and so things don't happen quite as anticipated.  This is also true with a Tarot reading.  However, even though we can't control the weather . . . we do at least get to have control over our own choices in our lives.  Thus, a Tarot reading can guide you in a better direction if you feel lost; it can offer you advice, inspiration, or information to help you move forward or solve an issue.  It helps you take an objective look at your situation, showing you what you *can* do to find something you want . . . or to move in a different direction altogether :-)

A Tarot reading that suggests a "good" outcome won't happen if you sit back and do nothing to make it happen.  Likewise, a Tarot reading that contains a "negative" outcome doesn't have to happen that way either if one makes the needed changes in his or her life or circumstances.  A reading offers suggestions on how to change or reinforce a potential outcome.

If someone asks about his financial situation, and the reading shows that things will go well for him, that person would be silly to then decide he could quit his job and just sit back and wait for the money to pour in.  I'm afraid he would be negatively influencing his outcome himself through his own choices.

On the other hand, if that person's reading suggested some difficult time ahead in the area of financial concern, and he therefore started saving money and spending more wisely . . . then he could be helping himself to change a potentially negative outcome . . . or at least to soften the harsh effects of a rough time.

These are just a couple of examples to show how *you* shape your own future with your actions and decisions.  That's part of the gift of free will -- you get to choose :-)
