Conflict in a Friendship Reading

Card One: What is the conflict?
If there is no obvious conflict, this card will show where the imbalance in the friendship is, or the cause of disharmony.

Card Two: How you perceive the conflict.

Card Three: How your friend perceives the conflict, if at all.
Bear in mind that the friend may not have any idea that you feel there is a conflict.  This card will show the friend's awareness.  If such awareness is not present, it is possible that your friend either thought there was no conflict at all . . . or thinks it is already resolved.

Card Six: What you received from the friendship before the conflict.

Card Seven: How your friend feels about the friendship now.
Card Eight: What your friend gave to the friendship before the conflict?
Card Nine: What your friend received from the friendship before the conflict?

This card will show the overall potential for the friendship.  It is important to pay attention to this card, because it will show the essential strength of the friendship.

Our closest and most important friendships are those that have depth and permanence. Their strengths are in mutual trust, shared experience, respect, and support. But sometimes it is these friendships that can confuse and challenge us the most.  Like love relationships, friendships deserve our attention when conflicts arise. This spread deals with conflicts, whether obvious or not (an actual fight, or simply a perceived imbalance). It determines where the conflict lies, how each person in the friendship feels, and how two people can work together to bring a friendship back to harmony.
