1 - Querent or starting state:  event or opening scene.

2, 3, 4 - Right hand path:  the way things are going, if no drastic changes are made.  Or, first choice in the matter.
    (Card 4 is the potential outcome of this choice.)

5, 6, 7 - Left hand path:  path of change.  Or, second choice in the matter.
    (Card 7 is the potential outcome of this choice.)

8 - Option; overall advice to consider.  Can even represent a completely different alternative.

Cards 2, 3, and 4 represent some sort of progression, either of events, obstacles to overcome, or states of being.

Cards 5, 6, and 7 represent progression for a second choice or when some action is taken or changes are made.

This 8-card reading works for "either/or" questions . . . and it also works for a situation where you have two choices to decide between.  This is also a good reading for situation where you need to decide whether or not to take action on a certain situation going on in your life.  The guidance in this Tarot Reading helps you decide what to do and what the best course of action is for you personal set of circumstances.
