Celtic Dragon Tarot
A deck that will especially delight dragon lovers, but also seems to magically appeal to those who don't think they have an interest in the subject of dragons.  Thus, you certainly don't have to be a "dragon lover" to find this attractive deck to be one that you really like.  In the making of this unique deck, author D. J. Conway and fantasy illustrator Lisa Hunt decided to avoid the New Age looks and designs traditionally seen in Tarot.  Instead, they strived to create an atmosphere and symbolism to blend perfectly with dragons.  They chose to use landscapes from the Celtic countries of Ireland, Scotland, and Wales.  In keeping with their ideas, castles and medieval clothing from the Celtic style is blended beautifully into the images of these stunning cards.  The cards are an outstanding work of art, and that's not surprising since it was the talents of  artist Lisa Hunt that brought this deck to life.  She also did the art on the Shapeshifter Tarot Deck.

Glastonbury Tarot
A very interesting deck in which the setting is the town of Glastonbury in Somerset, England.  Glastonbury is rich with myths and legends and is claimed to be the Isle of Avalon, the place of burial for King Arthur.  This deck is similar to other Arthurian-inspired decks.  The subtitle of the Glastonbury Tarot is:  Timeless Wisdom from the Isle of Avalon.  This deck comes as a Book & Deck set.

From the back of the box:  "Throughout the ages Glastonbury has been a place set apart, a refuge, the entrance to the Otherworld and the Underworld, a land where time moves different course and where realities can shift and change to birth new and wondrous images and revelations.  All paths meet and merge in this magical Tarot, reflecting the marriage of belief systems in this small area of land -- a melting-pot of ideas and ideologies, a cauldron of inspiration which feeds all who come here. --Deck and book by Lisa Tenzin-Dolma

Legend Arthurian Tarot
In this outstanding deck, the author combines the age-old collective wisdom which speaks to us on a deep, intuitive level with the symbolism of Tarot in order to make the Tarot more accessible, deepen the traditional interpretations of the cards and enrich your readings by drawing on the compelling mythology of the Arthurian world.

The 78 beautiful watercolor painting of the Legend Tarot illustrate characters, places, and tales from the legends and are combined with traditional Tarot symbolism.  The images unite mythic elements from all four branches of Arthurian legend -- the medieval romances, Malory's Le Monte D' Arthur and Geoffrey of Monmouth's History of the Kings of Britain, the Quest for the Holy Grail, and the Celtic legends -- to create a system of unmatched richness and depth.

As this is a theme deck, the boxed set is very nice as it comes with the book, also by Ferguson, A Keeper of Words. This is quite helpful for those not very familiar with the Legend of King Arthur and other tales of the time.  --Book and Deck written and illustrated by Anna-Marie Ferguson

Lord of the Rings Tarot
This is a nice theme deck for those who are fans of The Lord of the Rings.  The cards are very detailed, and the Tarot messages still follow a traditional Tarot structure for meaningful readings that can help you with any question you wish to bring to the Tarot.

From the back of the boxed set:  "The Lord of the Rings Tarot, by tarot and folklore expert Terry Donaldson, skillfully weaves Middle-earth and all its characters and fanciful places into a tarot system that will delight both Tolkien fans and tarot aficionados.

The tarot deck was inspired by J. R. R. Tolkien's stories of Middle-earth.  Tolkien's epic tales illustrates how friendship, love, and loyalty among friends overcome evil forces and hardships.  Now you can bring the lessons and experiences of Tolkien's tales into your own life!"

Mythic Tarot
A deck which will especially appeal to those who have an interest in Greek mythology, which is the theme of the Mythic Tarot.  Each card portrays a myth, and the accompanying book in this Deck & Book set describes the myth which is illustrated on each card, an inner level interpretation, and a divinatory interpretation.

According to Sharman-Burke, "Greek myths have been assigned to each card and the stories are intended to be used as a springboard from which to enrich an understanding of the psychological uses the tarot can be put to."
