This is the most beautiful Tarot book and deck set presentation I have ever seen!  The images and art are also outstanding.  In fact, I like the imagery in this deck even more than the Goddess Tarot, also by Kris Waldherr.  The author and artist is certainly talented and has brought us another beautiful deck.

Many of the cards in the Lover's Path Tarot are modeled after the traditional Rider-Waite images, although this deck is not a traditional deck with the renaming of majors as well as some of the Tarot suits.  The colors are rich and appealing.  Although there is not extensive detail in the cards, there is certainly enough in the way the author has presented them.

The book that comes with the cards is presented is in full color -- a very nice touch . . . and an added bonus for those of us who are not well-versed in the myths and tales which are explained in the book.  It was worth it to me to have both deck and book for this set, and at the time of this writing, the set is available for only $23.10 at Amazon.  That is quite a bargain with the beautifully boxed-case and full color book.  It can be argued that all the cards do not really follow their assigned mythical story -- or that some might be better if assigned to a different card.  Mythology is definitely not a strong point of mine, so I will not personally offer up any arguments of my own on that point.  I find the cards to be very appealing, and they hold that aura of romance that they were designed for.

I would recommend this deck for collectors, romantics, and those who would like to have one specific deck for use in romance readings.  With this deck, one gets a touch of tradition mixed in with love and romance -- very nicely done!!

I would give this deck 4 out of 5 stars!

Size of Cards:  3-1/2" x 4-3/4"
The cards are initially stiff, and for those with smaller hands, a side-to-side shuffle style is easiest for working with this deck of Tarot cards.  The cards will "break in" after using them for a time.

Included with deck: LWB (Little White Book) and a beautiful full color book, 162 pages.
Available as card and book set.  In the future, this may become available as a separate purchase if desired, but initially the author felt that with the mythical stories included in the book, one would find value in the book.  I completely agree with that perspective.

Major Arcana:  Many of the Majors have been renamed (but not re-numbered), and each Major Arcana card has been assigned a different myth or story as shown below:
