I debated back and forth with myself whether to categorize this set of cards as Tarot or not.  The authors insist it's not a Tarot deck, but is intended to be used in finding revelation and inspiration from God's Word that can serve as guidance and encouragement.  The author states that although there are structural similarities between these cards and the popular Tarot cards, there are no similarities in content.  Hmmm . . . well, I have to differ with that one as this deck closely mirrors the Tarot.  Indeed there are differences, but there are also enough similarities to use this as Tarot.  Even some of the imagery is similar to a Rider-Waite pack of Tarot cards.  For example, if you think of the Tower in Tarot, you would recall the lightning striking a tower.  In this deck, the card is called "Confusion" and it has a tower in the image.  It's also numbered 16 just as the Tarot Tower is.

And thus, I made the decision to include this enlightening deck among the other Tarot deck themes.

I think the best questions to ask of this deck would be for guidance, understanding the lessons of a situation, spiritual growth, and things of that nature.  This would not be the best deck to ask questions regarding whether you'll get a new job, a new house, a new car . . . or whether something will likely happen in the future.  If you keep the focus on your own personal growth and issues regarding your faith, emotions, life lessons, blessings, challenges, etc. then this deck can be a nice one to use.  General readings are good for this deck as well.

In my opinion, this is a really nice deck.  It is Christian-based, so those having this deck as a choice for their reading should expect to receive Biblical quotes and references as a part of their reading content.

There are 22 Major Revelations denoted by a small pink banner at the bottom of the cards.  These cards are numbered using Roman Numerals.

There are four suits in this deck, which the author calls "Guidance Revelations."  Each of the suits are color-coded at the bottom with red for the suit of light, green for the suit of Doves, yellow for the suit of Eagles, and blue for the suit of Thorns.  These suits are comparable to traditional Tarot suits as follows:

• Suit of the Light(Wands)
• Suit of Doves(Cups)
• Suit of the Eagles  (Pentacles)
• Suit of Thorns(Swords)

Some call this a Christian version of the Osho Zen Tarot.  It has also been termed a "Biblical Tarot."  The cards are designed for guidance, inspiration, and receiving revelation from the Bible.

The cards are pleasing to look at.  They are colorful and inviting, yet simple.

The cards are small and easy to work with.  Shuffling is a breeze with this deck because of the cards being limber.  They do have a light glossy coat on them, but they don't tend to stick the way most glossy-coated decks do.

This deck is one that is useful in gaining insight through self-readings, and it's great when one wants a Christian perspective in their reading.  Sometimes that is an important thing we either forget about or just take for granted.

SOULTIDINGS TRUTH CARDS To the best of my knowledge, this deck is out of print.  I purchased my copy by mail from South Africa.  However, the link to their site does not work, so if you want to purchase a set of the SoulTidings Truth Cards, the only recommendation I can offer at the time of this writing is to check Ebay.
