Reversed Six of Arrows
The Reversed Six of Arrows suggests that Eric is not yet prepared for the idea of "commitment" in terms of marriage.  But this does not take anything away from his love for you.  If he was confronted with feeling that he "had" to get married right now, that would be like an "unwanted proposal" to him . . . for now anyway.  This card reversal does not indicate the likelihood for you and Eric to get married in the next 12 months . . . but keep in mind that nothing is set in stone, and this certainly does not imply that the two of you will never get married at some point in the future.  But to "cement" the relationship via marriage seems to be something that Eric is not entertaining in his mind right now.

I think it's great that Eric is standing by you and your daughter -- being a father, and being your partner.  Things seem good right now, and even if marriage is not in the immediate picture, you and your partner are building something of value here.  Try not to press the idea of marriage, but instead, let that idea come to Eric naturally.  When he's ready, he'll let you know.

Some people live together happily, side-by-side, have a child and a good family life . . . without ever getting married.  Others will finally take the vows and commit with a piece of paper.  But for now, it's important to see that you have something of value, even if you're not married.  This man obviously loves you and your child (we've seen it loud and clear in other readings we've done for you), so he is committed in that way.  But marriage is not a step he feels is necessary at this time.  And again, that doesn't take anything away from his feelings and his love for you and the child that you and he have together.

Perhaps later, Eric will change his mind and have a desire to get married and have that legal piece of paper.  But for now, he doesn't see that piece of paper as necessary for proving his love.  He does love you and the child very much.  From here, it's just a matter of enjoying what you have and allowing Eric to decide when he's ready to "tie the knot."  Essentially, that "knot" is already tied . . . in a way.  It's just not "legalized."  But his love for you doesn't have to be legalized.  It's there in his heart, as I know it's in your heart as well.

Thus, with this card reversal, the energy is not favorable for marriage within the next 12 months.  Things are not moving in that direction for now, but things can and do change through time.  For now, I think you have been very blessed, and in time, perhaps Eric can consider marriage.  But at this time, it does not appear to be on his agenda.  Try not to look at this in a contradictory way which can be a tendency with the Reversed Six of Arrows.  For example, don't let your mind say that if he really loves you, he would marry you.  And don't let others try to convince you of that either.  Love definitely resides in the heart and not just on a piece of paper.
